On 30 April 2024, DECISO joined the InvestCEC project for a webinar titled "Breaking Down Financial Barriers in the Circular Economy."


This webinar explored the financial challenges within the circular economy and strategies to overcome them, using as examples the DECISO's pilot projects. It is now available online for those who missed it. After a introduction by Jorge Calvo Presa from CARTIF, each DECISO pilot shared their experience and explained where they currently stand. Sabine Herrmann (City of Hamburg), Daniel Gerdes (OOWV), Kostas Karamarkos (DETEPA), and Rosa Onofre (CCDRA) highlighted how each project is addressing financial challenges in their unique contexts.

Relevance for Circular Systemic Solutions

The Definite Deal Engine series is a collection of educational videos created to support European cities and regions in developing bankable circular economy projects. The series offers valuable insights for project developers aiming to improve their chances of securing investment by providing practical guidance and proven strategies.
