Meet the CCRI stakeholders: Uppsala (CCRI Pilot)
Published on 23.11.2023
An interview with Erik Pelling, Chair of the Municipal Board of Uppsala.

What attracted you to join the CCRI?
The possibility to be part of a large community that all work towards the same goal.
What are you hoping to achieve by participating as a Pilot?
We hope to gain more speed in the change into a circular economy. It is also a reference to how far other cities have come in order to push politics in our city.
What circular economy experience can you bring to the CCRI community?
We know a lot about producing biogas and biofertiliser. We have good examples of how to include reuse in building projects in the private sector.
