Relevance for Circular Systemic Solutions

The InvestEU Advisory Hub complements the InvestEU Fund by supporting the identification, preparation and development of investment projects across the European Union. It is the central entry point for project promoters and intermediaries seeking advisory support and technical assistance related to centrally managed EU investment funds. The InvestEU Advisory Hub is aimed at private organisations and public authorities that need advisory support services and project development assistance for their Circular Systemic Solutions. The support of the InvestEU Advisory Hub does not require its beneficiaries to apply for financing through the InvestEU Fund, nor does it entitle them to receive such financing support, although most advisory initiatives are linked and support specific InvestEU financial products.

Applicant criteria

The city or region must be at least partially based in Europe and have a theme that aligns with the themes of the Hub. The applicants can be a private company, public entity, public-private partnership, national, promotional bank/institution (NPBI), international financial institution (IFI) or a commission service.

Eligible projects/themes

The InvestEU Advisory Hub provides advisory support and technical assistance to investment projects in Europe on the following themes: transport; energy; digital connectivity and access including in rural areas; supply and processing of raw materials; nature and other environment infrastructure; cultural heritage; equipment; and mobile assets and deployment of innovative technologies that contribute to the environmental climate resilience or social sustainability objectives of the EU.

Application process

The application process starts by applying on the InvestEU Central Entry Point. A few questions are asked on the InvestEU Central Entry Point to find the suitable advisory support and partner. To formally apply, the applicant must register and log in via EU Login. After the application process, the applicant is requested to select one or more advisory partners. It is possible that the request does not match with a specific advisory initiative implemented by any of the InvestEU Advisory Partners. In this case the applicant will be informed of possible alternatives.
