More information

Organised by the European Commission, the CCRI General Conference will provide a forum for all interested circular economy stakeholders to come together to discuss and exchange on circular solutions at the local and regional scale.

Why should I attend?

The Conference will be an occasion to get inspired by other EU cities and regions and exchange with relevant stakeholders. It will explore themes such as coupling circularity with climate and environmental challenges, financing the circular economy and engaging with stakeholders, as well as how the CCRI can support the circular economy in collaboration with the CCRI Projects and Associated Partners.

This event will provide a unique opportunity for policymakers, business leaders and circular economy experts from across Europe to:

  • explore concrete ways of translating circular visions into reality in cities and regions;
  • share relevant information for policy-makers implementing circular economy actions on local and regional scales;
  • learn from experts’ insights on the benefits of a circular economy at the local/regional level.

There will also be an exhibition where participants will be able to explore and learn more about the CCRI and its partners.

You can find more details about the Conference programme on this event page.

Coordination and Support Workshop to follow on 9 November

CCRI stakeholders will be invited to take part in the second Coordination and Support Workshop on 9 November 2023. Building on the success of last year’s CCRI Coordination and Support Workshop and the following rounds of virtual meetings, this second edition will serve as a platform to connect, exchange and act, reinforcing the CCRI Community through collaboration. CCRI stakeholders will take part in a matchmaking experiment, where they will be able to share experiences, learn from one another, and develop solutions to practical challenges in implementing circular economy initiatives at the local and regional level. They will thus have the possibility to continue building on the connections made during the Conference.
