Today, circular projects face hurdles due to their perceived risk and lack of financial track record, deterring investors and banks. Yet, embracing circular economy initiatives can offer competitive advantages at local level.
The 3rd CCRI Coordination and Support Workshop will showcase success stories on how to make circular investments work in cities and regions, as well as how to make them more attractive to investors. Through dynamic presentations and networking sessions, participants will discover inspiring business cases and explore opportunities for becoming investment-ready and increase their chances to secure financial resources.
The event will also open the doors to matchmaking between successful or promising solutions and potential funders, investors and/or advisory service providers.

Objectives
- Inform stakeholders of the main funding and financial opportunities for circular economy projects in the EU and connect project ideas with potential funders and/or supporters.
- Provide a platform for meaningful connections between fund seekers for circular solutions and potential investors and funding institutions looking to support sustainable and impactful initiatives at local level.
- Through concrete examples, inspire and foster replication while facilitating discussions between members of the CCRI community and invited experts.
- Showcase CCRI success stories and take stock of successful matches and collaborations between CCRI stakeholders.
