You are invited to participate in the BIOTRANSFORM working group “Governance and financing challenges for circular bioeconomy”. The meeting aims to identify and delve into the governance and financing challenges faced by public authorities in the transition towards circular bioeconomy systems.

During this focus group, as a public authority, you will have the opportunity to make your voice heard and identify, discuss, consolidate, and prioritize the identified barriers with other public actors. You will also hear more about the specific regions and bioeconomy value chains that will be investigated over the course of the project. This interactive session will be the first step into the creation of technical transition guidelines for public authorities, listing effective governance and financing instruments to transition to a circular bio-based system.

About the project: BIOTRANSFORM - Circular BIOeconomy TRANSFORMation for regions by enabling resource and governance networks – is a three-year project which aims to provide European policymakers with an adequate assessment and policy development framework, knowledge base and expert support ecosystem to accelerate the transition from linear fossil-based systems to circular bio-based systems.
