4th webinar on the potential of Public Procurement in the transition towards Circularity
Public procurement represents around 14% of the GDP in the EU, amounting to a staggering €2 trillion spent every year by public authorities on goods and services. Undoubtedly, it is an extremely promising tool for inducing system change towards sustainability. How can this powerful tool be deployed to accelerate the transition to circular economy? How can the EU initiatives and projects can help local and regional authorities in this field? What are the most promising pathways? What are the remaining challenges?

We will then turn to 2 selected EU-funded projects to learn from their experience and to explore what they offer to other cities and regions.
