More information

Building on feedback from CCRI Pilots and refined to better reflect local needs, the new version sets out clear steps for cities, regions, and project promoters to ensure smooth implementation of circular solutions – from stakeholder engagement and action planning to securing finance.

The session will focus on clarifying what the guide is (and isn’t), how it can be applied in practice, and where to find additional resources for deeper learning. As part of the updated CCRI Methodology, the revised Self-Assessment Tool will also be introduced, offering a practical tool to assess circular solutions and track implementation progress.

Objectives of the webinar

  • Inform - Present the recent updates to the CCRI methodology, highlighting how the guidance supports structured planning for circular solutions, from early problem understanding through to stakeholder engagement, planning, and implementation.

  • Encourage Uptake - Motivate participants to apply the CCRI methodology in their work by showcasing its added value for mobilizing resources, engaging stakeholders, and driving the implementation of impactful circular solutions.

  • Exchange - Provide space for stakeholders to share feedback, experiences, and practices, fostering dialogue that can further strengthen the practical relevance and uptake of the methodology.

Target audience

This session is intended for all stakeholders from cities and regions across Europe who are interested in learning how to apply the CCRI methodology as support for developing circular solutions and local and regional level. This includes both external participants as well as members of the CCRI community (including pilot and fellow cities/regions, projects and partners).
